Children raise funds to send Lantern Festival blessings to the elderly
Aligned with the Great Kindness Challenge spearheaded by the Tzu Chi Foundation USA, three Tzu Chi Great Love Preschools in Singapore arranged for schoolchildren to participate in a charity sale through hand-making and selling cocoa balls to their parents to raise funds. The proceeds collected were then used to buy essential provisions for elderly people in nursing homes. Some children even took it upon themselves to advocate for environmental conservation in their communities, echoing their heartfelt commitment to safeguarding Mother Earth.
